Quickly Connect to the FTP the ADA Web server fast and edit your files.
Create a new project where you can Synchronize, Upload, Download, Edit and Create your web site the correct way.

Aptana is a free WEB IDE program which allows you to create a html web page fast and easy with out making any mistakes. The code filling feature will help you learn more about html coding and make your life easier at the same time. Aptana also supports php, javascript, css and more.
Download APTANA NOW (94,053,440 bytes)
Before you begin installing Aptana you should have admin or at least power user access.
1.) After you have downloaded the file, unzip and execute the file Aptana_Studio_Setup.exe

2.) You will see a Security Warning in Windows XP. Just click on Run button.

3.) Now wait for the setup to unpack data (uncompressing).

4.) Click on Next button

5.) Click on I Agree button

6.) Click on Next button

7.) Click on Next button

8.) If you don't have Microsoft Visual Studio (Visual Basic) or Adobe Dreamweaver or any other XML Editor then select XML Documents (.xml).
Click on Next button.

9.) Now if you want to change any settings then you can go back, else click on Install button.

10.) Now the installing process will commence.

11.) When the installation has ended, click on the Next button.

12.) If the setup was successful (you should have admin access or at least power user access) then it will look like the picture above. Click on the Close button.

13.) Make sure that the check box is selected and click on Close button.
NOTE (Only Apply to Windows XP and higher): Even though it says "Configure my Windows Firewall to enable this Aptana not to show warnings" you will still get a warning from the Firewall in Windows.

14.) Now on your desktop click and run Aptana Studio

15.) When you run Aptana for the first time you will see TWO windows open up (Only Apply to Windows XP and higher).
Select the Windows Security Alert first and click on Unblock button.

16.) Click on the check box and select it, then click on the OK button.

17.) To get started click on File menu then New then select Untitled HTML File

18.) Save your file and then type anything you like in the Body section.

19.) Notice you will see IE at the lower left section of the IDE (you will see Firefox also if you have firefox).
Click on IE or Firefox.

If you have not saved your file then it will ask you to do so.
Click on the Yes button.

20.) As you can see you preview straight in the Aptana IDE.
This step is optional. If you want you can see the line numbers and print margin so you know where it will print to.

1.) Click on Window then select Preferences...

2.) Now select Show print margin and Show line numbers

3.) Now go to Workspace section and select Refresh automatically and click on OK button.
